Alexs List of Favorite Movies

#1- The Shawshank Redemption

Great movie and awesome performances. My mom had bought me this movie a couple years ago for christmas and I had never heard of it before and now it tops my favorite movie lists. Morgan Freeman plays an awesome role in this film and really makes the movie for me.

#2- The Rock

The Rock has been one of my all time favorites ever since I was little. I seriously think I watched this movie over twenty times within like three years. How could you go wrong with a cast of Sean Connery and Nicolas Cage. This is definately the family favorite in the Carpenter household.

#3- A Beautiful Mind

This has always been on my top movie lists since it came out. Its a long and slow movie but the story behind it is really amazing. John Nash played by Russell Crowe was perfectly picked for the part. He really embodied the life of John Nash and was nominated for best leading actor.

#4- The Last Castle

This is a movie that I think was overlooked a lot. Not to many people have heard of this movie when I tell them it is one of my favorites. The movie came out in 2001 and I hadn’t seen it until about three years ago and was amazed at how good it was. Robert Redford is the main character and really fills the role quite well.

#5- Ironman

The best movie ever made from a comic by far. I was skeptical about this movie at the beginning there wasn’t as much hype about it as like the Spiderman series had got. After seeing it though I was really impressed with how it turned out and like I said by far the best comic book movie now.

#6- Dumb and Dumber

Dumb and Dumber is a comedy classic, if you haven’t seen it then you haven’t lived. Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are hilarious in the movie, this movie would not be the same without these guys which is proved after the sequel was a bomb and didn’t do nearly as well

#7- Into the Blue

I know I am going to get a lot of crap for this movie being in my top movie list because it really doesn’t have the best acting in it (Paul Walker) but I am a big fan of scuba diving and that it what I really enjoyed about the movie.

#8- Se7en

This is my creepy scary movie that makes the list. The movie is really suspenceful though which is why I liked it so much. Morgan Freeman is in this movie to which is a plus but really the end is what makes it for me, very suspenceful is all ill say if you haven’t seen it (which you should)
