Red Wings WIN the STANLEY CUP FINALS!!!

The Red Wings just clinched the cup in the 6th game of the stanley cup finals against the Pittsburg Penguins. Pittsburg came back in the last few minutes with a pulled goalie to tighten the score to 3 to 2. This was quite the battle and the wings were able to pull it out in the final seconds.

The Red Wings had taken a early lead in the series with a 3 to 1 game lead over Pittsburg going into game 5 in Detroit. The wings looked like they were going to take the game 5 to take the cup but the Penguins came back from a 3 goal deficit to take the game into 3 overtimes until on a unfortunate power play possesion by the Penguins caused a goal to finish the game.

Hennrick Zetterberg won the mvp award after a goal and an assist in the final game and got to add his name to the list.

This is the Red Wings fourth Stanley Cup finals victory in the past eleven years.
