Cycling peleton struck by drunk driver

During a cycling race in Mexico this past week, the leading peleton were struck unexpectedly by a drunk driver who fell asleep at the wheel. After seeing this photo and myself being a cyclists it is very scary. I know riding on the road can be one of the most dangerous places especially with  certain drivers who dislike bikers a lot.

Surprisingly only one person died in this crash while only two other riders were injured. Luckily there were so few fatalities and injuries. You can check out more about this story here.
