The Cool Kids blowing up

The hip hop duo from Detroit Michigan and Chicago Illinois have been blowing up ever since the SXSW convention this year. Their music accessible only from there Myspace page http://www.myspace.com/gocoolkids has been getting hits left and right. They have recently signed with Chocolate Industries through there own label C.A.K.E. recordings.

There casual and laid back style is what really sets them apart from the conventional rap hip-hop groups these days Check out there hit Black Mag. Run DMC and the Beastie Boys are a few influences you can see shine through within their music.

The Cool Kids have hooked up with Lil Wayne and Sara Bareilles and have been featured in the video game NBA Live 08. I would keep an eye out for these kids to be blowing up within the next year due mostly to the response they got from their performance at SXSW.
