This years Christmas list
- Flip Mino HD

After the tradgic death of my last Flip Ultra I have been videoless for the past few months and its dissapointing. Also a good reason to upgrade.
- Laptop Elevator

The Macbook Pro gets pretty hot when editing so I thought I’d test out one of these.
-Apple Keyboard

With the laptop stand I will need an external keyboard so the apple keyboard seemed fitting.
- Bamboo 4 x 6 Tablet

Heard these things work awesome when editing and drawing on the computer which I hope to do a lot more in the near future.
Inspired by Crewdson
Finals week is here and I needed to create 3 images inspired from my favorite fine art photographer and I choose Gregory Crewdson. I found out really how hard it is to using lighting in a similar way to his work which is why they call him the master of lighting. I had a lot of fun thinking up and actually producing this image as well. Overall I am happy with the way it turned out and hope it looks like his photos just a little bit is all and i’ll be happy.

Some recent work
Here is a sample of some of my most recent work. I have been exploring more commercial/product type photography and getting a feel of what that is like.

Grand Rapids Zombie Walk (Record Breaking)
Congradulations to Grand Rapids for grabbing the record for the largest Zombie Walk. This was really something to be apart of. Couldn’t have set up a better photographic experience. I felt like I was really in the movies with some of these costumes that people came up with. I think you can tell from the pictures some went well above just spraying some ketchup on themselves.
It’s expected that there was over 3000 participants blowing away the record set only a few days before. It’s an awesome feeling knowing that the City of Grand Rapids came together on this experience to truely make it something I will never forget.
For more photos from the walk visit the Grand Rapids Michigan here.
